Cumulative Bonus

For every year in which you don't make a claim, your sum Insured will be increased by 5%, up to a maximum of 50%.

On every claim, there is a 5% co-pay that is compulsory. Which means, you have to pay 5% of the total expense.

Is there any way I can increase my Arogya Sanjeevani Policy Cover?

Absolutely! When your policy is up for renewal, you can choose to increase your Sum Insured (in multiples of Rs 50,000), provided the total amount is not over Rs 10,00,000. If you haven't made any claims in the previous year, your Sum Insured will be increased by 5% as per the cumulative bonus you enjoy.

Is there any waiting period in the Arogya Sanjeevani Policy?

Every health insurance policy has a waiting period, during which certain claims will not be approved. The waiting period for various issues is as follows: - 30 Days - For all claims except those that arise as the result of an accident - 24 Months - For specific conditions, surgeries and treatments, including, but not limited to, benign tumours, gastric ulcers, non-infective arthritis, varicose veins and congenital anomalies - 36 Months - For all pre-existing diseases that were declared on the Proposal Form and have been accepted by us, as well as treatment for joint replacement (unless caused by an accident) and age-related osteoarthritis and osteoporosis* *To learn more about how long the waiting period is for different procedures and treatments, please have a look at the Policy Wordings.

How long is my Arogya Sanieevani Policy valid for?

Every policy is valid for only a single year. But, our hassle-free renewal process makes it easy for you to continue to renew your policy at the end of every term. As for how long we'll cover you - don't worry about it, we've got your back for life.

What happens if I lose my Arogya Sanjeevani Policy documents?

Once you make the payment, you'll get a soft copy sent straight to your e-mail. So, even if you do lose your physical copy, you'll have one waiting in your inbox, but we get that the e-mail might get deleted, too. If you need another hard or soft copy, you can get in touch with us and we’ll send one across ASAP.

Will I need to take a medical test for the Arogya Sanjeevani Policy?

In most cases, we won't need you to undergo any kind of test. But we'll take a final call depending on your age and medical history. Based on this, we’ll reach out to our Pre Policy Check-up TPA, MD India, and inform you about the same.
