As the name suggests, it’s a health insurance policy which gives you more. The Zuno HealthPlus Policy is one of the most affordable and simple ones available in the market today. You’ll benefit from the fact that there is no room rent limit, and you can choose to have a really high insurance cover of up to Rs 5 Crores. This Mediclaim policy does not have different cover limits for different diseases. All modern-day treatments, which include robotics surgery, are covered up to the Sum Insured and do not have any other limits defined. Moreover, this policy has zone-based pricing, which leads to zone-based discounts.

Making sense of common insurance jargon

Pre-existing Disease

It refers to any kind of disease or ailment that an insured person has been suffering from, before having bought an medical insurance policy

Co-payment

This is the percentage of the claim amount that you agree to pay from your pocket, as per the plan chosen at the start of the policy.

Deductible

The agreed amount of money that you need to pay every year to ensure that your cover stays active.

TPA

Third Party Administrators coordinate between you and the insurance company. They are responsible for managing health insurance claims and other services on behalf of the insurance company.

FAQs

How many family members can I insure in a Floater policy?

In a floater policy, you can insure up to 6 Adults + 3 Children. Relationships that can be covered in a policy – self, spouse, son(s), daughter(s), parent(s) and parents-in-law(s).

What is Recharge?

Your Sum Insured will get replenished by 100% of the Sum Insured once in a policy year on indemnity basis in case the Total Sum Insured inclusive of earned No Claim Bonus (if any) is insufficient due to claims paid or accepted as payable during the Policy Year. Your recharge can get triggered from the first claim itself. 

What is Unlimited Restore?

Your Sum Insured will get restored unlimited times by 100% of the Sum Insured in a policy year on indemnity basis in case the Total Sum Insured inclusive of earned No Claim Bonus (if any) is insufficient due to claims paid or accepted as payable during the Policy Year. Please note that at any point of time the payable claim amount under this benefit will not exceed the Base Sum Insured and No Claim Bonus (if any). Your restore benefit will not get triggered in the first claim.

Who can get cover under Accidental Death Benefit?

For floater policies the proposer who is the earning member of the family can get Accidental death benefit which will be equal to base Sum Insured or 10X of declared annual gross income, whichever is lower.

What will my Out-patient cover offer?

You can be covered for consultations for diseases such as cough, fever, cold etc. under this cover through cashless and reimbursement process.

Why am I charged different premium basis locations even after opting for same configuration of plan?

Your premium may vary because of zone based pricing. There may be a discount basis the zone that you will enter at the time of purchase of policy. We have defined three zones in our Zuno HealthPlus Policy.

Zone I: Delhi, NCR, Mumbai (including Navi Mumbai), Kalyan and Thane
Zone II: Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Chennai, Pune, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Surat
Zone III: All cities apart from Zone I & Zone II.
