    Permanent total disability (optional cover) - If the insured suffers accidental bodily injury during the policy term, which is the sole and direct cause of his or her permanent total disablement, occurring within 365 days from the date of such accident defined under the policy, then the policy holder will get a percentage of the sum insured mentioned in the policy schedule.

    Permanent partial disability (optional cover) - If the insured suffers accidental bodily injury during the policy term, which is the sole and direct cause of his or her permanent partial disablement within 365 days from the date of such accident defined under the policy, then the policy holder will get a percentage of the sum insured mentioned in the policy schedule.

    In-patient hospitalisation (optional cover) - If the insured suffers an illness or injury due to an accident that occurs during the policy period whilst the insured is on the trip and that injury solely and directly requires the insured to be hospitalised for at least the minimum number of consecutive days specified in the policy schedule, then we will pay the lump sum amount specified in the policy schedule.

Out-patient expenses refer to diagnostic tests, vaccinations, pharmacy costs, consultations with a medical practitioner, physiotherapists, speech therapists, plaster cast, crutches and minor OT charges.

Disappearance

If the insured disappears whilst on a trip during the policy term due to an accident followed by a forced landing, stranding, sinking or wrecking of a conveyance, earthquake or flood during the policy period and is legally declared dead (declared death in absentia or legal presumption of death) provided that such disappearance is certified in writing by the local police authorities.

Emergency evacuation

Coverage that provides medical evacuation of a policy holder to a medical facility in their own country.

Funeral expenses

Expenses for the funeral, cremation or burial and transportation of the body to the place of the funeral ceremony.
